Need help with DanceKing? Email bodydash@purplefernllc.com. Include “DanceKing” in the subject, your iPhone model, iOS version, the routine name, and what happened. A screenshot is optional. Do not send passwords or unrelated personal information.

Play a routine

Choose a dance routine from the library. Use the video controls to pause, resume, or move to another point. Close the player to return to the library. The starter videos are available offline immediately. The app checks for new and updated routines and downloads them over Wi-Fi. A content-pack indicator shows progress. Previously saved routines stay playable during an update or if the connection fails.

Content updates

Keep DanceKing open on Wi-Fi to finish new downloads. If an update fails, use Retry in the library. iOS may suspend downloads when you leave the app; returning checks again. A routine already playing keeps its current version until you return to the library.

Upcoming moves

The included routines show a scrolling pose guide synced to the video. Pause or seek and the guide follows the same point in the routine. These previews do not use your camera or score your movement. Standard video AirPlay sends the routine video and music; the pose guide stays on your iPhone.

No sound

Raise the device's media volume and check the current audio destination. If headphones or a TV are selected, sound may be playing there. Pause and resume the video, or close it and open the routine again.

Watch on a TV

Start a routine and use the player's AirPlay control to choose a compatible TV or receiver. Make sure AirPlay is enabled on the receiver and both devices are on the same Wi-Fi network. If the TV is not listed, check Apple's AirPlay instructions.

Playback stops

Keep DanceKing open while watching. If you leave the app, playback pauses. Return and use the play control to continue. If a video will not load, close the player, try again, and contact support if the problem continues.

Camera and recording

This release plays videos only. It does not request camera or microphone access and does not record, track, or score you.
